Love, love, love this skirt! Have spent the better part of a year trying various modest brands of athletic skirts, to no avail (lower price point, certainly!). They were either too tight, too short, too baggy of leggings or were too ugly in terms of color or style. Had an "aha" moment a couple of weeks ago remembering that the original mod skirt (which is my daughter's hands-down favorite skirt for swimming ever!) came in customizable lengths, and that perhaps this one did too...It did and the rest is history!
My only negative comment is I wish the skirt came in a "curve" edition, as both my daughter (15, 5'7", 120 lbs) and I (almost 50, 5'6", 140) purchased for the hip measurements and that made the waist quite large. The skirt is so well made though (my mom is a professionally trained seamstress and fashion designer, so I know!) that I was able to open the waist seam to access the elastic band to make it smaller, so now they are perfect! (Some skirts have the elastic sewn right to the was it band itself, making that impossible).
I would also suggest a tiny little 1" straight (not curved or shirttail) slit in the side seams for aesthetics on the next edition, plus a solidly nice navy as a color option:)
