I've had about ten Mod skirts now and they continue to be favorites! They're perfect for running errands, working out, and doing things like going to theme parks. The shorts underneath provide an extra layer of modesty and prevent chafing. I also like how the shorts are shorter than the skirt and don't show. The zippered pockets are EVERYTHING. A lot of times I'll throw my keys and ID/credit card in a pocket and not even bring a purse with me.
One of my skirts was sent with the snap messed up so I contacted customer service and they were great! They got a replacement sent out right away with a corrected snap. I appreciate their friendliness, commitment to good service, and high quality (I've been wearing a couple of these skirts for over two years now).
The only thing I'd note (which is okay by me but in case someone else needs to know), almost every skirt I've purchased is an inch shorter than described. I thought one seemed longer than the others so I measured out of curiosity and the one was a true 27 inches, whereas the rest of my 27s are actually 26 inches long when laid flat and measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem. Likewise with my 24s, they're measuring at 23 inches. Again, I'm totally fine with this, but someone who is specific about length might want to know that. I'm 5'4 and the 24-inch skirts hit right below my knee. The 27-inch ones are calf-length.
This review is for the red skirt, which I LOVE, but I also have a few blacks, navy, gray, a star-spangled American one, a Christmas one, and a few 90s ones. I'm a big fan of solid classics but I also look forward to more bright designs like the 90s run. I still get tons of compliments on them even though they're a couple years old!
